We Are The World是一首1985年的慈善歌曲，為麥可傑克森和萊諾李奇共同譜寫，昆西瓊斯負責製作，由美國45位歌星聯合演唱，
旨在聲援為非洲饑民捐款的大型慈善活動「美國援非」（USA for Africa ）。
包括蒂娜特納、黛安娜羅斯、肯尼羅傑斯、史提夫汪達等等，許多知名度非常高的歌手都有參與這首歌的演唱。
而最後，這首歌為非洲饑民籌集到5000萬美金(義演、義賣唱片等等所得)。
麥麥是We Are The World的召集人之一，而這首歌主要也是由他譜寫。
雖然他獨唱的時間十分短暫，但在我第一次聽到這首歌時，他天籟般的歌聲就讓我深深著迷，
能有幸認識麥麥也是因為這首歌，對它的喜愛自然勝過其他歌，不在話下。
每次聽到這首歌，心裡都會無比震撼，
它的歌詞真實又充滿意義，旋律百聽不膩，每一位歌手的歌聲各有其特色，
然而，唯一的共通點就是：
所有人的歌聲都流露出誠懇，聽者只要認真聆聽，便能感受到他們的心意，以及對於人人衣食無缺、理想世界的期盼。
聽完這首歌，我總會在心中感慨：
這首歌實在是歷史上絕無僅有的寶物。
